Terms of Service
1. The service
Emberel is a reminder-first AI memory service that lets you capture notes, tasks, reminders, and ideas by text message, email, and voice, and resurfaces them to you. Emberel is operated by Sounds & Sirens (“we”, “us”).
2. Accounts
You need an account to use Emberel. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be at least 18 to subscribe.
3. Subscriptions, trials & billing
Paid plans (Lite, Pro, Power) are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial that requires a card; unless you cancel during the trial, your plan begins and your card is charged at the end of the trial. Annual plans include two months free. Prices are shown transparently on our pricing page.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime, in one click, from your account settings or the billing portal — no phone call and no retention maze. Cancellation stops future charges; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for refunds and what happens to your data.
5. SMS messaging
SMS reminders are a core feature. By verifying a phone number you consent to receive account and reminder messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use Emberel to break the law, infringe others’ rights, send unlawful or unsolicited messages, or attempt to disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
7. Your content
Your captures are yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service (store, process, and resurface your content, including AI parsing). You can export or delete your data at any time.
8. Disclaimers & liability
Emberel is provided “as is.” We work hard on reliability but don’t guarantee that every reminder will be delivered on time. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; we’ll notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
